Caroline Rance

Caroline Rance once worked in an NHS complaints department, and is still awaiting the return of her soul.

Her first historical novel, Kill-Grief, was published in 2009 and she is now working on a non-fiction book, provisionally titled The Quack Doctor: Historical Remedies for all your Ills, for publication by The History Press in 2013. Her blog of the same name was shortlisted for the Medgadget Best Literary Medical Blog Award in 2010 and 2011. Caroline is studying for an MA in Medicine, Science and Society at Birkbeck College, has a proper job editing charity publications, is mum to a five-year-old boy and is somewhat more impressive on paper than she actually is in real life.
