THE STRICTLY WRITERS

Welcome to our blog. We are a varied group of writers - published and aspiring; poets, short-story creators and novelists - with one thing in common: an enduring love for the craft of writing. A love which requires great resilience in the face of recurrent self-doubt, writer's block and rejection. In the face of the obsessive checking of emails, inch high dust and burnt dinners. In the face of a gamut of RSI injuries and writer's bottom. But a love which repays itself ten times over with those sparkling seconds of elation when finally, the right prose unfolds, like a quick-footed jive or seamless Cha Cha Cha. That's when we trust once again the voice in our heads that orders... "Keeeeep writing!"

Hello I could not find a contact button, so I am doing it this way. I would like to be a guest author on your blog when you have the space.

Respectfully yours,

Hello Strictly Writers,

I’m Jen from Writer’s Relief, an author’s submission service that’s been helping creative writers since 1994. I wanted to let you know that your website caught our attention over here, and we would like to write for your blog.

We’ve got quite an audience:
50,000+ opt-in subscribers (creative writers) each month
74,000 Facebook friends
54,000 Twitter followers
and many more connections via our other sites.

Also, just so you know, we do publish guest blog posts and we also offer guest posts, interviews, reprints, etc., as well. We’re available to write about a wide range of topics, from getting an agent to staying inspired. See the link above for a list. We’ve interviewed industry pros like Grammar Girl, up-and-coming author Lisa Van Allen (The Wishing Thread, Random House/Ballantine), and the folks at mediabistro. And we’ve been featured on blogs ranging from “smaller” individual blog sites to Barnes & Noble, About.com, and The Huffington Post.

So let us know if you’d like to connect.

Wishing you all the best,

Jen
